Level 5 Vision 10 (Layton vs Ace Attorney, Fantasy Life, Time Travelers...)

Level 5 ha celebrado la "Level 5 Vision 10" donde nos ha mostrado nuevo material de sus juegos anunciados y la presentación de una gran cantidad de títulos, donde la Nintendo 3DS recibe un buen surtido de anuncios.

The mystery platform for Time Travelers has at long last been announced. At a press conference today in Tokyo, Level-5 announced that the game is in development for 3DS. As release date has yet to be set.

Time Travelers was originally announced in April. Much of the buzz surrounding the game centered on the involvement of Jiro Ishii, who had joined Level-5 to work on the game following such critically acclaimed titles as 428 for Chunsoft. Ishii is the director of Time Travelers, with Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino serving as producer.

At the time of the original announcement, Level-5 did not list the game's platform. It did hint that the game would be released on an as yet unreleased platform, causing many to speculate, correctly it seems, 3DS.

Joining the platform announcement, Level-5 shared some images and a few details on the game.

Taking a central role in the game are two characters: Skeleton, a terrorist who knows the future, and Mikoto Shinmichi, a girl who also knows the future.

The game will be a "time travel suspense" set in a world of a grand scale. At press conference, Hino noted that this will be the first time Level-5 has released a suspense game.

Ishii appeared at the press conference alongside Hino. He promised a story driven game that would not let fans of his work down. He also alluded to new game systems that will help make the game appeal to more people.

Both Ishii and Hino appeared confident that the game will sell well, with Hino referring to it as a 500,000 or million level title.

Level-5 switches the platform and picks up Yoshitaka Amano for the game's image illustration.

One of Level-5's long missing DS games reemerged at the Level-5 Vision 2010 press conference today. Level-5 announced that Fantasy Life has been reworked into a 3DS release.

First announced at last year's Level-5 Vision, Fantasy Earth is being developed by RPG specialists Brownie Brown. Players create an avatar as their in-game character and, as the name suggests, experience life in a fantasy world.

The screenshots in these old articles are all from the DS version, of course. On the 3DS, the game has been switched to 3D visuals.

Also new for the 3DS is a tie-up with another Final Fantasy veteran. Level-5 also announced that Final Fantasy illustrator Yoshitaka Amano will be designing the game's image illustration.

It was previously revealed that Fantasy Earth would have a musical component from Final Fantasy composer Nobuo Uematsu. This was actually one of the main highlights of the game at last year's press conference, as Uematsu said he's be crafting 21 "life songs" which would serve as ending themes for the various lives you can experience in the game. The reborn Fantasy Life is being targeted for 2011 release. The game's official site has yet to be updated with the new details announced at Level-5 Vision.

A mí no me da del todo buena espina el juego este de Phoenix Wrigth con el Profesor Layton. Por separado son de los juegos que más me gustan en DS, pero no los veo en un mismo juego :S

Qué horror. Mis dos peores pesadillas juntas. Puzzles y abogados.

Bah siempre dicen lo mismo y al final llegara , de los anuncios me llama la atencion este Time Travelers sobre el layton VS pw aun no probe ninguna de las 2 sagas XD .
